This raffle finishes on Friday (25th July) and the tickets are free. So what are you waiting for?

Congratulations to DSAMPLE. His ticket, #4, was the lowest number to be picked by no one else. #1 was picked by 10 people, #2 by 5 people, and #3 by 6. Follow the link to see the results in all their glory.

Raffle.it – Nintendo DS & Guitar Hero On Tour Bundle, Free Tickets

Guitar Hero on Tour seems to be getting mixed reviews, issues with the peripheral sliding out and the whole experience being a little less comfortable than you would have expected. That said it looks like it’s great fun and almost worth losing the use of your wrists.

Winner of this free raffle will be identified on Friday - grab your tickets now!

If you have children at school then you’ll most likely understand the constant pressure the staff are under to make every piece of equipment go further than Jesus’s loaf of bread.

We’re putting together a bunch of raffles that should help you to help them. Initially we have a stack of new library books (£3,000 to be precise) from Waterstone’s and a fantastic collection of musical instruments from Bonners Music worth almost £2,000.

You buy a ticket and receive a reward voucher from Waterstone’s or Bonners (depending on whose raffle you entered) and if you win you tell us which school to deliver the prize to. How simple is that? Great for your children’s school as it’s potential fund raising they’ve not had to struggle to do, and great for you from the feel good perspective and the reward voucher.

Visit our School section now to secure your tickets.

  • Arsenal Fans – win a signed shirt for £2

Rashida Barbett contacted us recently to help her raise money for Ophans In Need. Rashida and her family are big fans of Arsenal and she was recently given a signed shirt by the manager of Arsenal’s training ground in London. Rashida has been working hard to support Ophans In Need and recognised that this gift was ideally suited to raising much needed cash.

That’s where we come in. We’re hosting Rashida’s raffle here: http://www.raffle.it/charity

The prize is valued at around £500 and all the money raised will go to Ophans In Need.

Found out more about Ophans In Need here: www.orphansinneed.org and here’s a snippet from Rashida’s local paper.

  • We decided to keep O2 and Apple company today

Some of you may have experienced problems accessing the site yesterday and today, sorry. We had to make some changes behind the scenes that created bigger knock on effects than we’d expected. We should have communicated this possible outage prior to embarking on the upgrades and will ensure that we do exactly that in future.

Still it seems we’re in good company today, O2 and Apple have grossly underestimated demand for the new iPhone and have disappointed many more than us!

Just a quick warning to anyone thinking of upgrading their existing iPhone to the new 2.0 software – don’t do it just yet. Apple have told me that the iTunes Store can’t re-activate these newly updated phones so you’ll be left with the infamous iBrick (just like me).
